Where Chaos Meets Growth: My Journey as a Dynamic Dad, Athlete, Model, and More

Life, for me, has never been about sticking to just one lane. I’m Anthony Thomas—a father of two boisterous boys, a former world-class long-drive professional, an actor in commercials of all shapes and sizes, a model globally published by many major brands, and charity golf entertainer. Add a healthy dash of family time, a passion for fitness, and a brand-new obsession with Jiu-Jitsu, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for (mostly organized) chaos. Some people say you need laser focus on just one goal in life. Well, let’s just say I’m pointing my laser in multiple directions and watching the fireworks.

I’ve spent years balancing fatherhood—where sticky fingers and bedtime routines never take a day off—with a professional life that demands travel, creativity, and plenty of hustle. People often see the glamorous side of modeling and acting, but they rarely get a glimpse behind the curtain. Spoiler alert: there’s a whole lot of waiting around and some pretty uneventful casting sessions in between those glossy magazine spreads. But I’m here to peel back the layers and share the untold stories—the good, the bad, and the downright boring. After all, if I just posted shots of me on stage or rocking a flashy look, you’d think I spend my days sipping fancy drinks and practicing my pout in the mirror. (Although I do crack a few mirror jokes—usually after I’ve lost a Jiu-Jitsu match.)

Speaking of Jiu-Jitsu, I’ve recently dived headfirst into this thrilling world of grapples and chokes. Let’s say I’ve discovered new parts of my body I didn’t know could be sore. It’s humbling to grapple with the pros, and yet I find it exhilarating. For me, pushing my physical limits in something new translates into growth in other areas—like fatherhood. If I can survive a serious chokehold, wrangling my kids into their pajamas suddenly doesn’t feel so tough. (True story: no black belt can compete with a determined toddler who refuses to go to bed!)

Behind the scenes, I also run weekly video logs (my “vlogs) to stay accountable for my goals. When you’ve got a camera following you around, those “I’ll start Monday” excuses become much harder to justify. So far, recording my day-to-day has been an eye-opener—fitting in Jiu-Jitsu sessions, modeling auditions, father-son bonding, and a million random tasks in between. I’ll be honest, there have already been some naysayers. But I’ve learned that the critics are basically like free personal trainers for my resilience—they’ll keep me on my toes without me having to pay for a gym membership.

I also want to shine a light on the raw realities of being in entertainment. From rehearsing lines in a waiting room to tackling awkward audition scripts, I’ve done it all. There’s such magic in seeing the finished work, but a lot of unglamorous puzzle pieces fit together behind the scenes. If you’re curious about the modeling or acting world—or if you just want to see what it looks like when a dad tries to handle heartbreak (like an earful of negative comments) with grace—I’ve got a front-row seat saved for you.

Ultimately, I’m here to share my journey, build a community around the idea of “harmony over balance,” and show you how I juggle family, fitness, and fun. So if you’re craving an honest look at what it’s like to live many passions at once—plus a bit of humor from a self-professed dad-joke connoisseur—come along for the ride. Feel free to drop questions, share your own stories, and laugh at my hilarious missteps. Let’s grow together, harness the chaos, and craft the life we truly want—one multitasked moment at a time.
